JSTSS: Call for Presentation “Psychosocial Impacts of War and Armed Conflict”
The International Exchange Committee of the JSTSS invites 1-2 researchers (or PhD students) from the LMICs as (a) speaker(s) to a virtual symposium organized by the International Exchange Committee at the annual meeting of JSTSS, held in August 2023. Although the official language of the symposium is Japanese only, we will give feedback (comments and questions from the audience) to the presentator(s) after the annual meeting. The 10-minute presentation(s) should be pre-recorded with slides. The target population of this call includes, but are not limited to, forcibly displaced persons (refugees, asylum-seekers and internally displaced people), residents in the affected area, as well as humanitarian relief workers. The deadline of abstract submission is December 31th, 2022. Please send an abstract within 200 words and a short CV (1-page) of the presenter to Misari Oe (oe_misari@kurume-u.ac.jp).
